Dan joined Mid-Michigan Insurance Agency in November of 1997. After graduating from Central Michigan University in 1993, Dan started his insurance career at Prudential Financial. After leaving Prudential in 1997, he joined our Agency as a financial planner. He then transitioned over to our commercial lines department. In September of 2004, Dan took over as President of MMIA. Recently, in March of 2021, Dan purchased the Agency with his partner, and is now COO. Dan is a “big picture” guy, and loves to navigate the insurance landscape. With his connection to our community, and his loyal personality, he is a great asset to our agency.
Dan is a lifelong resident of Mt Pleasant. He and his wife, Lisa, have two children, Darrin and Emily. Outside of work, Dan and his wife enjoy all things outdoors. They spend most of their free time adventuring through Northern Michigan, and the UP. They enjoy collecting rocks, skiing, boating, fishing, and running their side-by-side all throughout the Michigan trails.
